Through the expertise of its Projects Department, Protek has the capabilities to manufacture items which cannot be bought off the shelf, or have long lead times. It works with clients' engineers, buyers and production staff to ensure items are manufactured according to the correct specifications.
Advanced design facilities enable Protek to model bespoke items for approval prior to manufacture. This ensures safe operation, installation, minimal disruption to production and, ultimately, the completion of projects on time and within budget.
The Projects Department uses the latest AutoCad and Solid Edge 2D and 3D software to produce layouts and concept designs for client approval. Documentation packs are also prepared, which include covering drawings, material certificates, mechanical calculations and test certificates. The team also undertakes site surveys prior to preparing proposals and layouts.
